Beyond the platform itself, the site had simply been sitting untouched for some time. It had gone stagnant, and both the design and the content structure showed it. The layout felt cluttered, the visual hierarchy was inconsistent, and navigating through the breadth of content Janine had created wasn't intuitive for users.
For a lifestyle magazine built on inspiring readers to explore and stay a while, that friction was a real problem. Users who land on a hard-to-navigate blog tend to leave quickly. So, we needed to help Zabelicious Life revamp this experience.
