If you need your website to have a robust shop to sell many products, we might not recommend this platform. As Squarespace continues to evolve, this may change! However, eCommerce platforms that support large online stores and still learning how to integrate with Squarespace.
Complex Client Portal
Are you creating a client portal or membership site for your business? Squarespace does integrate with two third-party apps called Memberspace and MembershipWorks that may work for what you need. However, if you need complex features that these apps don’t offer, the third-party portal may not be the best option.
Custom Features
Finally, if you just need to have a custom website, perhaps Squarespace isn’t the best fit. This platform has many customizations for your website that can be implemented without coding knowledge, but certain templates have limitations of what you can customize.
